The ATMOS Configuration and TSF Subscription

1. Introduction

This quick guide provides an overview of the steps on how to:
1. Prepare/configure the ATMOS app in PROSOFT
2. User set-up in TTCloud
3. The purchase of an ATMOS subscription in TTecomm.

The procedure is similar to the other TSF subscriptions.
For more information on Cloud Setup and how to create a System Integrator account, read this article: TELETASK Cloud installation
By following these steps you’ll be able to:
• Use the ATMOS app in Demo mode for demonstrations
• Setup a TTcloud account for different ‘users‘
• Create ‘users’ in PROSOFT
• Link a subscription to a TTcloud account

Remark: You'll need PROSOFT version 4.0.1.x or higher.

2. ATMOS setup guide

Quick Guide:
Below you’ll find the Quick Installation guide. It can be also downloaded as a PDF file from here.

Text version below.

2.1. Your client is interested in ATMOS but want to test it first

You have a client (with or without TELETASK installation) who is interested in ATMOS.
We provide a possibility to test the app in Demo mode for free on a working TELETASK demo installation (in Belgium). Follow the steps:
1. The user can download the app from App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) on his mobile device.
2. In the first On-Boarding screen select ‘Demo mode’
3. Test the functionality.
4. By closing the app completely and restarting, the user will return to the first On-Boarding screen

TELETASK also provides the possibility to life- test the app on a working (existing) installation of the client. It’s possible to test the app within a maximum of 3 days (free of charge; without a paid subscription), after completing step 3 (see scheme).
1. Complete step 1, 2 and 3 from the scheme.
2. The user can download the app from App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android)
3. Login with the TTcloud account (preferred) or as a local installation.
4. Start the app and finish the on-boarding process on the mobile device.
5. After 3 days the connection with the installation will be lost and a subscription is needed to continue to use ATMOS.

REMARK: The three-day testing period begins after each download with PROSOFT. Please ensure you are use PROSOFT 4.0.1.8 or a higher version to avail of the three test days.

2.2. Your client wants to obtain and use ATMOS

1. E-mail addresses
Ask to provide the e-mail addresses of all future users of the ATMOS app.
It’s important to know who is the ‘owner’ of the installation (e.g. the parents of the family) as only* the user(s) with this role will be able to manage subscriptions in TTecomm.

*NOTE: A System Integrator can also manage the subscription(s) and invoice the client as a part of a maintenance contract with the client.

In this case, the S.I. needs to link his/her credit card on the TTecomm platform (step 4) and pay for the subscription(s) cost. Just set the role of ‘System Integrator’ for the installation (step 3) and login with your professional S.I. e-mail address to TTecomm.

The ‘owner’ can see that a subscription is purchased by the System Integrator in TTecomm and can even take over the subscription by deactivating and activating it again. The next payment will in this case be made from the card of the ‘owner’.

2. PROSOFT Configuration

After e-mail addresses for all users are known, the System Integrator can start the PROSOFT configuration.

  • A. Make Sure the DoIP Central Unit of the installation is TTcloud connected

Go to ‘communication’ tab and select ‘cloud setup’
For more information see this page: TELETASK Cloud installation

  • B. Create new ‘mobile app’ in GUISOFT (is part of PROSOFT)

A new mobile app GUI can be configured automatically (preferred) or manually. Read more about the GUISOFT here.
Finish the GUI configuration if not done yet.

  • C. Add users in PROSOFT

Via the tab ‘Extra’ -> ‘Users and settings’ create the users using their e-mail addresses. More about the users and roles here: TELETASK Cloud installation

  • D. Transmit the PROSOFT .nbt file to the Central Unit(s)

Once the above steps are done, the PROSOFT- .nbt file is ready to be transmitted to your central unit(s).
More information about connecting your PC with the central unit and transmitting the file can be found here.

3. Create a TELETASK Cloud account

After the file is transmitted successfully and the Central Unit is Cloud Connected all entered users will receive an e-mail from cloud at teletask.be (check the spam folder if not received). Their account can now be created/completed by following the instructions given in the email.

4. Purchase subscription in TTecomm

Now the ‘owner’ or the ‘system integrator’* can purchase the ATMOS ref. “TSF 16101” for one year (or TSF16103, TSF16105 or TSF16110 for 3, 5 or 10 years) subscription. In this description we follow the procedure of the ‘owner’ (e.g. a parent) paying for the subscription:
1. Login on TTecomm with the same e-mail address used for the TELETASK Cloud account of the ‘owner’.
2. Finish the account by filling in the empty fields and link the credit card
3. Buy subscription for ATMOS (TSF16101/TSF16103/TSF16105/TSF16110). Make sure the payment is done successfully

*NOTE: A System Integrator can also manage the subscription(s) and invoice the client as a part of a maintenance contract with the client.

In this case the S.I. need to link his/her credit card on the TTecomm platform (step 4) and pay the subscription(s) cost. Just set the role of ‘System Integrator’ for the installation (step 3) and login with the S.I. e-mail address to TTecomm.

The ‘owner’ can see that a subscription is purchased by the System Integrator in TTecomm and can even take over the subscription by deactivating and activating it again. The next payment will in this case be done from the card of the ‘owner’.

NOTE: Usually the app can be uses within 1 hour and the invoice will be send by email within 24h.

5. Download the ATMOS app

1. Each user must now: download the app on App Store for iOS devices, Play Store for Android devices or the Windows version from TELETASK website.
2. Follow the on-boarding process in the app and connect via their TTcloud account (preferred) or local via the IP address.
3. Everything must work just fine now. Check with your client if any adjustments are needed (see step 2 to reconfigure or adjust ATMOS via GUISOFT).

NOTE: Language, favorites, themes, alphabetical sorting and configuration names can be managed in the app by the end-user and don’t need intervention of the System Integrator.

6. Manage subscriptions

To keep ATMOS running, don’t forget to manage the subscription via TTecomm.
The system will notify the owner (or system integrator) via e-mail that the subscription will elapse and is to be renewed soon (or when the credit card becomes invalid). Don’t miss this notification as it will result in disconnection of the ATMOS from the installation if the renewal payment is not yet done no the renewal date.
Subscriptions can be cancelled or renewed any time via TTecomm: https://ecomm.teletask.be/login/

If you have an existing iSGUI license (for the ‘old’ mobile devices app) in your installation, you may get a period of free ATMOS subscription use. That period depends on how long ago the iSGUI license was activated. When obtaining an ATMOS subscription, TTecomm has this data and will adapt your cost to this eventual situation.

Below in the table you can see the eventually applicable period of a free subscription:

2024 or later
free subscription until 31/12/2027 (paid subscription from 01/01/2028)
2023
+4 year free subscription (paid subscription from 01/01/2028)

+3 year free subscription (buy subscription from 01/01/2027)

Buy an ATMOS subscription
NOTE: if there was already an existing iSGUI TDS15101 license, then the above free period will be applied to the cost. Therefore, the first payment may be only a part of the standard unit cost.
