OPUS (TDS12070)

The OPUS touch screen is a very flat wall mounted screen which can be installed in about all environments and places. Be it you central control screen or be it mainly your indoor video door phone station. It can be used for communicating with an external video doorphone system that runs on SIP.
SIP involves a 3th party SIP server where both the OPUS and the external doorphone would need an account on. The server will handle the coordination between each other as well as "finding" each other.

See also Video Door Phone Compatibility Tests for more information about tested outdoor units with OPUS.

OPUS Configuration

OPUS01
On the main page of the OPUS configuration you can configure two different aspects. One is for configuring the door phone system. And the other part is for configuring what items should be displayed on the OPUS.
!! Configure the indoor door phone
OPUS02
On the top left side we can configure the doorphone. Any external doorphone needs to communicate its voice over SIP.

Use Video stream from SIP call
Some doorphone systems are capable to send its video stream over SIP. It is recommended to use this feature when available because this improves the lip syncing.
Direct SIP
Some doorphone systems support direct SIP. With this feature it is possible to leave out the SIP server in the network. This will create the problem that at least the calling party will need to know the IP of the destination.

When direct SIP is selected you will only be able to specify the port number. The IP address of the OPUS and the given port number will need to be configured into the external video phone that supports direct SIP.

Sip Server
The ip adress of the SIP server. This will only be possible in case direct sip is not checked.
Sip Port
The port number of the SIP server. Or the Port number for OPUS in case of direct SIP.
User ID
The SIP id (number that needs to be dialed in)
Password
password associated with the SIP id that was configured into the SIP Server.
